Hello Sir, Could you please authenticate the paper of Phase 1 by visiting the link below. Is this the actual level of paper or do we need to practice tougher questions?

Sorry Rishav, I won’t be able to go through the entire paper due to time constraints. Plus, I don’t even remember much about Phase 1 questions of last year. I would recommend solving a few free mocks from various coaching websites to get an idea of level of paper

Hi Madhuri, yes, it is similar. To know the exact RBI Grade B pattern, I would recommend solving Phase 1 mock tests. There are a lot of free Phase 1 mocks available on the net as most coaching institutes offer at least 1 free mock. You can start by solving those.

Hi Shubham, no plans as of now due to time constraints. But if closer to RBI Grade B Phase II, if I have some free time, would definitely post some topics on the blog. Will post an update about the same on the blog’s Telegram channel.

Hello, I don’t think I can’t be grateful for discovering this gem of a blog to calm down my anxiety! I am a second year Econ undergrad student from DU and will prolly go for Masters in the same. I am very skeptical about starting to prepare for this process as I feel my profile is not that of an Engg or Math background, since most of the qualifiers have these backgrounds. How would you suggest I go about it to ace the exam from now onwards?

Hi Gargi, if you are not scared of solving problems from Quant and Logical Reasoning, you have nothing to worry about. Most of these problems can be easily solved by application of logic and with a lot of practice. When it comes to Phase II of the exam, you would actually have an edge over Engg and Math grads because of your Economics background.
Alternatively, with a Masters in Econ, you would probably be eligible for Grade B DEPR and may want to apply for that instead. Here the competition would be much lesser than the General stream.

Hi Mansi, sorry but I don’t reply to eligibility related queries because I am myself not very sure about these things. Please refer to RBI notification or contact RBISB for such queries.

Hello,
I was going through the strategy of Kanak Agrawal in the one drive initiative that you have posted in the resources page of this blog. She has mentioned about using Google to search for reports for ESI. Please let me know about what reports I should keep an eye on and any other advice for this topic. Thanks

How to study from vision ias monthly capsules? I mean what all should we cover from that in Economy and social issues section?
LikeLike
Hi Shruti, I personally don’t recommend studying Vision IAS monthly magazines for RBI Grade B exam. Referring to Vision IAS schemes compilation doc is ok, but for monthly current affairs, any good banking specific CA magazine should suffice. If you still wish to go ahead with Vision monthly magazine, yes Economy and Social Issues sections would be the parts to be studied.

Hey, i m a bba graduate (2020) from not so recognised university. i graduated in november 2020 and gave rbi exam in march 2021 but unfortunately not able to clear the exam. so now i have a gap of one year, i really wanted to know what i should do so that i have an added advantage, i did the iibf diploma in banking and finance course, what extra certification or courses i should do. i have no work experience , no mba degree and not any big achievement under my name. is there any chance of me clearing the interview (as said interviews are not in your hand) as i have time right now i can do some extra stuff but i m not able to think of any which can be useful.

Hi Saloni, it’s good that you did the JAIIB equivalent from IIBF. Apart from that, you can google for various courses in Finance, Economics, Banking, Central Banking etc from reputed institutions like Udemy, Courseera etc. See if you find some of those interesting. You can also try looking for internship opportunities. Moreover, I recommend that you also appear for other related exams like SBI PO, NABARD, SEBI etc, rather than just waiting for RBI Grade B notification.
